Tony King

Tony specialises in Security and Risk management. He draws on more than 20 years of experience working internationally, from providing consultation services for some of the world’s leading energy and maritime companies to delivering bespoke close protection for a Forbes top 10 family.

Since leaving the Royal Marines in 2010, Tony has worked as a Maritime Security Consultant for Oil and Gas companies, Merchant shipping companies, and Seismic Surveys operations throughout East and West Africa, whereby Tony was required to provide security consultation, prevent the threat of armed piracy and train multinational military forces.

Tony went on to work in Oman as a security manager for a major oil company and later moved to an advisory position within the organization. His role was to lead a security team comprising over 200 security personnel, advise senior management on operational and strategic security planning, and create and implement all company policies, procedures, and plans. Before joining the HD Group team, Tony worked globally for a Forbes top 10 family as a close protection officer providing bespoke personal security, detailed journey management planning, and delivering risk mitigation measures for the family.
